Poking fun at the last image campaign of the country, proudly launched by the Ministry of Tourism – “Romania. The land of choice”, Romanian Classic – a rather cheap wine who’s target suffers every day from the unpleasant consequences of bribery, bureaucracy, arrangements, connections, nepotism, hoggishness, senselessness and all the others inherited communist foibles – shows the other face of Romania and the real choices that one has here. The slogan itself is an irony. The english pronunciation is spelt like you hear it. Wrong. The same way that Romanians understood democracy. Welcome to Romania! No blood sucking here, just sucky mentalities.
